Studio J is awesome!

I CANNOT wait for you guys to be able to check out Studio J. Its coming soon for you. The next three post are all done with CTMH's program: STUDIO J! If you've EVER done anything digitally (this was my FIRST!) then you will LOVE it. I am a little behind on my own scrapbooking so this is going to be a GREAT way for me to catch up. Let me explain it a little: you log on, select your paper packet and layout pattern, upload your photos, add all the cool embellishments and stickers you want, change around any colors, and THATS IT! No software to buy at all. You only pay for the layout you've created!!! You will be able to access it on my website as soon as its available to customers!!
See the lil metal accessory above - that isn't 'real.' it is on the photo paper- i added it and them changed the color- i even added that lil stamp. I matted all the photos in the dessert sand. You can leave it like it is or add your traditional embellishments when you get it... like ribbon on top or regular brads, etc...
I added the lil photo clip to the top left hand corner in the program! There arent any TRADITIONAL embellishments on ANY of these pages here or in the below post! I done it ALL in STUDIO J! Doesn't it look real? So cool! I was totally impressed.
you can even 'ink distress' a couple of different way- 'regular on the edges,' or 'sponge like,' or like above left : 'cross hatch.' SOO many options!

Love these easy studio layouts!

Okay- so this one is a little busy- i realize that BUT I LOVE this paper!!!! I want to get my hands on a level 2 paper packet of this!!! Check outthe metal slide on the ribbon! I put a brad on the 'bouquet of blessings sticker.'
These were already on here- I changed the ribbon and brad color to the cocoa and blue. Then I went and grabbed those flower stickers to 'stick' in the middle.
You can add typing 'journaling' to almost anything!!!

More Studio J

This is a 15 page layout! wowsa! Check out the detail- the possibilities are endless! :-) Check out the ribbon I added.. and the stitches. As many as you want and any color you want!
You can 'mat' all your photos as thick or thin as you want! I used 'stickers' on this one!
Below are a few brads and another 'sticker.'
ALL of these are studio J layout- there aren't ANY 3d traditional embellishments- this paper is as smooth as a photo all over! High quality! I hope you will give it a try when it becomes available to you! Remember it is FREE! You just buy your pages... no software to download or monthly payment- just your beautiful embellished pages!

LOL This is Will eating a Popsicle (no doubt at least his second that day!) This is truly a 'real' moment around here captured. He never slows down and is always entertaining! LOL
Love these top coats we have now- you can adhere with brads or lil glue dots on the back on the colored part or JUST use or bonding memories glue- works like a charm.. dries clear!
The detail on these pages is what "makes them!"
These workshop kits are packaged now with really cool accessories- this one comes with ribbon, buttons, brads, and even the metal accessories!!!! OH - did I mention the stamp is included too!!!! Love it! Close to my heart truly does make things faster, simpler, and easier!

Spring Flower Pot

Its snowing as I type! Ha! But these fun spring colors were a great change in pace to play with! I was going through some old files and found these instructions given by Tina Sutton! Looks like pattern instruction are Margi Gilbertson. I remembered seeing this last year and thinking there is no way I can make this BUT girls it is soooo easy! Email me if you want me to send you the simple one page directions! The flowers are part of a "tickled pink' kit we had last year BUT you can certainly stamp any flower pattern you have and cut them out! You can use it for decoration - a scrapbook embellishment-OR its actually made to be a card.. You can pull out the tab and write or stamp your greeting!

Easter bunnies!

Okay- so I know it is still a little ways off, but I just got this lil B-size bunnies stamp and I love it!!! So cute!!!! I did a lil paper piecing on these to show them off! Next time I will use a darker ink to stamp my bunny... Still so sweet.
I stamped the bottom bunny a bit darker- i think it looks better! I hope everyone is already enjoying the Starburst jellybeans! ;-)

SNOW DAYS - STILL FUN?

Okay - so I realize everyone is tired of snow BUT here is a super cute page of while it was still fun! Thanks to my friend Shawn who sent this to me! - I LOVE LOVE LOVE to see others artwork! (keep it coming) This page remind me of our jingle workshop doesn't it- very unique! Love the paper colors too Shawn. Scrapbookers can NEVER have enough paper! I find myself 'saving' prettier paper sometimes because I just know I will have those perfect pictures for it - well I think this was just the case for Shawn because this picture matches the paper perfectly! BEAUTIFUL!

Embossed handprint!

This is the cutest thing!! I wish I had thought of it when Will was a baby!! I stuck his hand in the versa mark ink pad and then laid it flat on paper and then embossed with silver powder!!! so cool and sooooo EASY! I used to think embossing required a lot of time but it really doesn't at all... just stamp (in this case- hand print!) and powder, shake off excess and heat! Ta-da!
This is the front of the card. It's for Scott's aunt who babysat Will so we could go to the movies!!!! Thanks Aunt Sandy! Valentine's Day (the movie) was AWESOME!

Card Making Machine I am!!!

Ooops- this one uploaded sideways! Seems like I had a bunch of reasons to make some cute cards lately! This one is for a cousin n law who just got news she is expecting!
This is a 'just because' card for a good friend who has moved away...

Thanks!

I have the BEST sister EVER- AGAIN! haha She's going to get tired of my handmade garbage filling up her mailbox.. :-) She treated me to a pedicure and lunch recently! I thought flip flops were appropriate in a thank you card! Spring is right around the corner girls! I have officially QUIT my snow dances!!! I would NOT complain if it snowed again- however- this sunshine today looked really good. :-) Love my new cricut cartridge- it cuts the cards and matching envelopes! NICE...

Hope you had a good Valentine's!

Wow- it's been 8 days since I've posted! YIKES! I have been very occupied to say the least.. I just wanted to share some photos of some cards and roses! Scott always gets me the "hoops & yoyo" cards from hallmark- they are HILARIOUS!
This is my card to Scott. I love the look of the old fashioned valentines.. I wish I had some doilies. (sp?)
This was Will's card to Scott. He 'painted' on the front and the inside is all scribbles and a picture of them together. :-) Kids even seem to make Valentine's Day more fun!

Teacher and Student Valentines!

My sister comes up as often as she can to 'play' with my toys as we say.. I helped her make valentines for her boys classes. We made heart shape cards (cut from a cricut cartridge) and then used clear corner adhesive thingys (that is the professional name for them LOL) and stuck in the photo- on the inside. We stamped names and made goody bags.. The teachers gifts were so cute! She found the idea to trace the boys hands and cut out and paste onto a 'goody'- (in this case- bath n body works lotion!) with the very cute phrase : "A round of applause for Mrs. ______) How cute is that! :-)

In Review....................

I love doing these pages. They are so fun, easy , and you can use whatever paper you want!! The year in review pages can be as much or less as you want.. I just hit the highlights and do a few photos so my pics can be bigger- you can do it however and big or small as you want! These are typically miscellaneous photos you have already scrapbooked throughout the year OR just photos you have here and there that showcase you & your families life that year! Maybe you had a job change or moved or a new baby! Just review the year! These are good to put in the back of your 'everyday' albums! Start from the beginning... you can put what month this event took place OR just title the photo like I did here....
We had a pretty usual year (thank GOODNESS!) so its mostly some holidays and this and that for me. :-)
I just trimmed small paper and hooked them on with 'bitty' brads so they look like little title plates. :-)

I'm in STITCHES......

Topstitch is my FAVORITE paper this quarter. Every quarter I fall in love with the new papers- I seem to lean toward one more than most. Although 'you rock' is coming in a close 2nd- I have found myself going back to Topstitch paper 90% of the time! It is just so versatile.. Blues, pinks, browns, and I love the patterns! Start with all this >>>>> And create all this>>>>>> I wish you could see the detail on these pages. So subtle but BEAUTIFUL! Maybe its my friend's sweet baby's pictures that pushes it over the top! :-)
I made the card below inspired by a card Amy Edwards shared on our close to my heart group! There are so many talented consultants out there its makes the creativity part SOOO easy!
Some up close detail of this workshop page!
We make so many beautifully embellished pages in our clubs! The club kits make it so easy to teach a class!

THANK YOU

This is a thank you card I made for my sis! She helped me out (BIG TIME) during a spell we had with illness around the house! whew- glad that is OVER! Sick kids are no fun especially with sick parents! anyway - so THANKS AMIE! (sorry amie if you are seeing it here first before it arrives to your house! LOL) We just got our biggest snow in a while here in middle TN and I wanted to do something with some snowflakes on it! This is crystal blue, heavenly blue, bamboo, and outdoor denim ink on colonial white.. If you could see the detail (camera phone pic) you would see liquid glass all over this card. I love this stuff- it makes everything pop a lil more! I didnt want to use sparkles or brads because I was mailing it but the liquid glass turned out great!
